Born in a small town outside of historic New Orleans, Darren has found inspiration in the rich heritage of the people of Louisiana. At a young age, Darren turned to photography as a way to capture the human spirit and the intoxicating cultural tapestry around him.

After studying digital photography at Louisiana State University, Darren decided to expand the scope of his horizon by moving to New York City and taking his diverse experiences of the South with him.

Darren continues to be propelled by his deep rooted passion, his unique ability to articulate the essence of the human condition on film and is eager to continue to push his boundries as an artist.
